Just a brief report on games and results of the South East Metro Spring competition.

Monday, 28^th September saw Division One Level Play, with Dave Budge (Captain), Jan Proudley, and Tom Dixon travel to Kew but lost narrowly 2-3.

Division Two, with Tony Brand (Captain), Rob Carter and Rose Inglis, had a close win 3-2 win against Kew at home.

Then on Thursday, 1^st October, the Advantage Team Competition got underway.

‘Dolphins’ played at “home” with Tony Brand, Anthony Kurth and Rose Inglis (Captain) having a good win 4-2 against Mornington.

The ‘Sharks’ had to travel to Lilydale with Rob Carter (Captain), Ian and Robin Lacey and Jodie Till, had a drawn match 3-3, but won but 2 hoops better!

Congratulations to all concerned.

Next week, Division One, David Budge and Andrew White, travel to Lilydale and Division Two (Tony Brand, Rob Carter and Meg Thorley) host Lilydale (Div 2) at Sandringham.

Advantage Dolphins play Monash at Monash, and my thanks to Gerard Connors, Andrew and Lynn White for filling in while three of our team are away next week!

Sharks host Kew at Sandringham.

Good Luck to all!

The courts have really benefitted from the fabulous 45 mm of rain, thankfully without any damage so far, and look really good.

Happy Hooping!
