Social Activities for September and October

All the social activities for September and October are up on the website calendar and also on the notice board in the Clubhouse.  There is more happening as the weather hopefully gets warmer and the days longer with daylight saving starting in early October.

Sausage sizzles continue every 2^nd Saturday of each month and are a great informal way to get to know other members after a social game in the morning.  We will have a brief presentation by Sam Waley from MedHP, the exercise and wellness hub and our new sponsor immediately after the sausage sizzle on Saturday 12 September  .

Then on Friday 25 September in the early afternoon there will be the finals of the High-Low Pairs competition. Further details to come.

Continuing our ‘theme’ night events, the Curry Night will be held on Friday 2 October.  All details are on the CURRY NIGHT FLYER as well as on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.  Book early to save your spot as numbers are limited.   Another opportunity to mix and mingle and get to know other members.

October continues with:

• The annual Spring opening – invitees will include special guests and members of other Bayside clubs – on Saturday 17 October at 1 pm.

• The first Twilight Happy Hour for the season on Wednesday 21 October. Bring a plate of nibbles to share starting around 6 pm and BYO drinks. [Note that Wednesday social play sessions will start at 4 pm from the first Wednesday (7^th October) after Daylight Saving starts.]

NOTE for your diary : Christmas Lunch and Presentation of Trophies :  Thursday 10 December.
